Process
1. Initial space review
First off we visit you and your space to see it could be better for you and the surrounding wildlife.
2. Concept generation
With your needs front and centre we develop a series of concepts which can be used to refine a direction for the space.
3.Sourcing & Design
With a clear direction, we refine the plan. Materials and plants are chosen to suit the land and last well. If it fits the space, we’ll bring in traditional touches like dry stone or woven fencing to add structure in a natural way.
4. Implementation & build
This is where the work happens on the ground. Everything is built with care, using methods and materials that suit the space.
5. Aftercare
Once the main work is complete, we stay involved to support the early stages of growth. Advice is always available if the garden needs a steer.
6. Development of ecosystems
A gradual process where plants settle in and the ecosystem starts doing what it was designed to do, offering the benefits built into the plan.
Inspiration from previous projects
Materials & methods
One of our cornerstones as a business is to employ the use of heritage craft techniques. These are not always suitable, but where your space and your desire meet, we can discuss the use of ancient crafts and natural practices such as Cornish Hedging (Stonework), Hedge laying and permaculture based garden design & management.
